Leyhoeve Vught | Residential complex
On the former Kentalis site in Vught, a sustainable housing concept for people over 55 is being developed: De Leyhoeve. Investor Bonita Vastgoed's ambition is to create a residential landscape where residents can grow old pleasantly together. The 290 rental apartments will be equipped with every convenience. Space for connection
Pleasure of living, quality, residential enjoyment and hospitality are at the heart of De Leyhoeve. This is reflected, among other things, in comfortable and life-proof homes with a wide variety, a generous range of facilities, and plenty of space to meet. These include a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, wellness and meeting areas. The estate and the facilities of De Leyhoeve will not only be accessible to future residents, but also to visitors and residents of the municipality of Vught.
Prefab & biobased
The Leyhoeve Vught has a high sustainability BREAAM Excellent. The residential landscape will be built sustainably and in harmony with the environment. The design also takes into account the preservation and restoration of cultural-historical heritage. We are currently investigating whether we can build modularly with a prefab system and bio-based materials. This will reduce waste and lower CO₂ emissions on the construction site. We are also investigating the possibilities of installing a heat and cold storage system (WKO) to generate our own energy.
Zoning Plan Amendment
In addition to our expertise in the field of sustainability, we used our knowledge and experience for zoning addition. Together with architectural firm RAU and other parties, we conducted various studies in the context of complementing the zoning. We also assessed the financial feasibility of the plan.
Locations of De Leyhoeve already exist in Tilburg and Groningen. Construction will begin in Vught in 2025. The project is a nice boost for the Brabant village; both residents and neighbors can enjoy the beautiful residential landscape from 2027.
