Logistics NL oversees the development of V-PARK Vordingborg, a strategically located logistics hub along the E47 highway in Denmark. This site serves as a crucial link between Scandinavia and Germany and will become even more connected to European transport corridors with the opening of the Fehmarn Belt Tunnel in 2029.
The Fehmarn Belt Tunnel will significantly reduce travel time for freight traffic between Hamburg and Copenhagen. Rail freight will take just 2.5 hours, while road transport will see the current 45-minute ferry crossing reduced to just 10 minutes. This will enable faster, more efficient logistics processes and strengthen Vordingborg’s role as a gateway to Northern Europe.
Vordingborg's infrastructure has undergone significant expansion in recent years. The port now features a 10.4-meter-deep shipping channel and an extended quay of 1.2 km, allowing larger vessels to dock and increasing cargo handling capacity. Additionally, investments are being made in sustainable transport solutions. Everfuel is developing a hydrogen refueling station for freight transport, while Norlys is constructing an electric charging station for trucks and passenger vehicles. These initiatives align with the EU’s Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) strategy and support the region’s green ambitions.
V-PARK Vordingborg covers an area of approximately 23 hectares and offers space for the development of 100,000 m² of high-quality logistics facilities. Its strategic location along the E47 highway, directly connected to the future Fehmarn Belt Tunnel, makes it an ideal base for companies looking to optimize their logistics operations in Northern Europe.
We are proud to be making this logistics development possible – together with all involved parties – within the set schedule and with a strong focus on sustainability and efficiency.
