As a working student, he is at the start of his career and is full of energy to develop himself in the world of real estate. Curious about his background, passion, and expectations for the future?
Young professional
Loïc is an energetic young professional with a passion for real estate, who combines his studies with his work at Volantess. In his free time, he can mostly be found on the football field: he plays in the first team of HVV'24 in the Zeeland town of Hulst. “Sport helps me clear my mind, stay fit, and recharge my energy. And fighting for victory together with the team is what I enjoy the most,” he says.
From the construction site to real estate development
Loïc is currently studying Real Estate at Fontys University of Applied Sciences in Eindhoven. Before starting this program, he gained two years of experience as a work planner and construction worker at a contractor in Belgium. “As a result, I have both practical construction knowledge and experience with the preparation and execution of projects,” he says. This combination of study and practical experience brought him to Volantess, where he started this year as an intern and has since progressed to the role of working student.
“In my current role, I support the project developers with various tasks and projects. In addition, I am increasingly delving into the business operations of Volantess. This gives me insight into both the development process of real estate projects and the organizational and business aspects of the company. That combination makes my work varied and gives me the opportunity to further develop myself in different areas.”
A dynamic workfield and new challenges
The variety and versatility of real estate give Loïc energy. “No project is the same and you work together with many different parties, which makes every day different. In addition, I love seeing how an idea eventually grows into a concrete project and its realization,” he explains.
Bij Volantess, Loïc feels completely at home. From his very first day, he noticed the open and engaged atmosphere, where he is given the space to actively contribute and continue developing himself. “We have a really great and hardworking team where I feel completely at home. From the very beginning, I was warmly welcomed and given the space to share my ideas, ask questions, and continue developing myself. That makes the work both educational and challenging.”
With his eagerness to learn and perseverance, Loïc has a clear goal in mind. He hopes to continue developing himself in the coming years and to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible. “My goal is to become a real estate professional who understands and can guide projects from initiative to realization. I see every new challenge as an opportunity to further develop myself and at Volantess, I am given every opportunity to do so.”
